Passion Week

"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." - Albert Einstein

When I look at trees during the winter, I get so depressed because they remind me of skinny, bony little things shivering out in the cold air and rain. :( But when comes spring, I think trees are the most magnificent creations of God in this whole entire universe! As I walk around the huge UCSD campus, I see green trees, brown trees with red leaves and pink flowers, and trees with white fluffy flowers, etc. But when fall season comes, all the pretty little flowers and leaves fall off, leaving the tree bare once again, going through the season cycle of 'death' and 'rebirth'. It's kind of how Jesus died for our sins on the cross, but that wasn't it. He resurrected, rising from death. Have you ever thought about the endurance of our Saviour? If Jesus gave up on the cross because it was so painful, we wouldn't be here this day, this minute, this second even reading this post. But because he endured and preserved through pain, he ultimately entrusted himself unto the Father's hand.

Trust in God's timing that has been prepared for you. God works in different timings and through different seasons. It's Passion Week, everyone. Let's meditate on the Lord and look to the glory of resurrection. :)
